What is the way?
In practical terms, “the Way” isn’t just a set of rules or a lifestyle; it’s a personal relationship with Jesus. By believing in His sacrifice on the cross, accepting His forgiveness, and following His teachings, we walk in “the Way.” It’s a path that transforms us from within, giving us purpose, guiding our decisions, and providing peace and hope that transcends life's challenges. Through Jesus, we experience a life of meaning and are assured of eternal life with God.
Why Jesus?
From the beginning, God’s plan has been to rescue and redeem us from sin and separation. Jesus, God’s Son, entered the world as one of us. He lived a perfect life and offered Himself on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He died for us, rose from the dead, and made a way for each of us to come to God, forgiven and restored.
How Can We Know the Way?
The way to salvation is simple yet profound: believe in Jesus Christ and what He did for you. It starts by recognizing our need for Him. We can never earn our way to God on our own—it’s His gift to us, freely given but costly to Jesus. Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
What Does This Mean for You?
Knowing the way means knowing Jesus personally, surrendering our lives to Him, and letting Him guide us. As believers, we’re not just “misfits” in a world that feels temporary; we’re redeemed misfits, loved and called to make a difference. We’re not alone on this journey—we’re part of God’s family, walking together toward something far greater.
Tomorrow is not promised!
Each day is a gift—a reminder that tomorrow is not guaranteed. James 4:14 puts it plainly: “You do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” It’s easy to get caught up in planning for the future, but the reality is that our time here is short and fragile. This truth isn’t meant to instill fear but to inspire us to live fully, intentionally, and in step with God’s purpose today.
